The Himalayas: Nepal
Seeds of Hope | WOMEN’s EMPOWERMENT & AGRICULTURAL PROGRAM
$52,328 RAISED SINCE 2022
Background
This November 2024, Trek Relief returns for the third year to support The Small World in the transformative Seeds of Hope project in Nepal's Himalayan communities.
Responding to challenges that have arisen due to the pandemic and climate crises, our mission emphasizes empowering women into leadership roles and enhancing the financial resiliency and food security for the families in these regions.
Participants will help create sustainable agricultural solutions, including building greenhouse tunnels and implementing advanced farming techniques. By participating, volunteers contribute to critical United Nations Food Systems Summit action areas. We aim to benefit over 500 families with seeds, training, and leadership programs, fostering resilient food systems and financial relief amidst severe economic hardships.
Join us in this conscious, challenging, and community-oriented adventure, delivering impactful aid and empowering local women and communities.
