Trek Relief Turns 8! Celebrating a Legacy of Impact & Announcing Our Mongolia Project

Trek Relief started with a simple idea: to merge adventure with purpose. What began as a small grassroots effort in response to the Gorkha earthquake has now become a global movement, bringing together volunteers, donors, and communities to create lasting change through sustainable projects.

January 2025 marks our 8th anniversary, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible community that has made this journey possible. Since our incorporation on January 30, 2017, we’ve been on a mission to empower communities, protect the environment, and inspire socially responsible travel.

So, as we celebrate this milestone, we’re not just looking back, we’re looking ahead to what’s next.

Eight Years of Impact: A Commitment to Sustainable Change

Reforestation & Land Restoration – Thousands of trees planted across Mongolia and Patagonia to combat deforestation and desertification.
Clean Energy Access – Solar power installations in off-grid communities, improving education, healthcare, and sustainability.
Disaster Recovery & Resilient Infrastructure – Housing and community rebuilding efforts in earthquake-affected regions.
Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security – Local training initiatives supporting food sovereignty and regenerative farming practices.
