In the wake of devastating floods that claimed over 250 lives and impacted thousands of families across Nepal, Trek Relief partnered with The Small World to deliver critical aid and long-term recovery support. Volunteers provided food, clean water, and medical supplies to vulnerable communities, helping children return to school and families rebuild their lives.
The journey combined meaningful relief work in Kathmandu with a soul-stirring trek through the Dhaulagiri region—reaching Khopra Ridge and the sacred Khair Lake. This powerful experience brought people together in solidarity, offering hope where it was needed most.
An Urgent Call for Action
Disaster Response | Flood Relief and Rebuilding
Background
Severe flooding has devastated Nepal, claiming over 250 lives and isolating the capital, Kathmandu. The floods have impacted more than 10,000 families, with schools closed and livelihoods destroyed. Underprivileged communities, especially children and daily workers, are in desperate need of aid. In response, Trek Relief is teaming up with The Small World to provide immediate relief and long-term support to help these communities recover.
The Mission
This isn’t just a call to action—it’s an opportunity to make a tangible difference. By supporting this project, you’ll be directly involved in delivering essential resources like food, clean water, and medical supplies to those affected. Your support will help vulnerable children return to school and aid families in rebuilding their lives.
