“Our trip was a fully immersive dive into the magic that is Mongolia... It felt so good to contribute to Mongolia’s reforestation efforts and it allowed us to connect a little deeper with the local community and not feel like a tourist just simply passing by.”

Experience Mongolia: Adventure, Culture & Sustainable Impact
MISSION
Preserve Mongolia’s Cultural Heritage
A third of the Mongolian population still live a traditional nomadic lifestyle, moving their yurts and livestock seasonally across a landlocked plateau. For generations, nomadic herders have relied on groundwater, but climate change, desertification, and overgrazing are depleting water sources and degrading pasturelands. With crucial wells dried up or in disrepair, families travel long distances for water—threatening their livestock, livelihoods, and nomadic way of life.
Trek Relief is partnering with local leaders to revitalize critical water sources for nomadic herders to protect their nomadic way of life and become more resilient against climate change.
Join us on our mission to preserve Mongolia’s rich cultural heritage for generations to come.
