Trek Relief’s 2024 Annual Report Is Here: See What We Accomplished Together
Trek Relief is proud to share our 2024 Annual Report, a reflection of what we’ve built together across Nepal, Patagonia, Mongolia, and Peru. This year’s report is more than just numbers—it’s a testament to the power of volunteer travel, climate action, and community resilience.
A Global Year of Purpose-Driven Impact
In 2024, over 30 volunteers joined us across four countries to implement five community-led service expeditions. From flood recovery in Nepal to clean energy projects in Peru, our teams contributed to environmental restoration, education access, food security, and infrastructure resilience. These programs were led by alumni who stepped into leadership roles, proving that service can grow into lifelong impact.
Highlights From the Field
Nepal: Rebuilt a flood-damaged classroom for 91 students in Kavre and supported women farmers through the Seeds of Hope greenhouse program.
Mongolia: Planted trees and restored riverbanks through our Kiss the Earth program, while laying groundwork for future clean water initiatives.
Patagonia: Constructed an outdoor classroom and medicinal garden, embedding environmental education in public schools through Fundación Renoval.
Peru: Installed 12 solar panels at two children’s homes, cutting energy costs and powering brighter futures.
What This Means for the Future
The annual report showcases how adventure travel and service are transforming lives and landscapes. It also introduces our plans for 2025, including deeper partnerships, alumni-led programs, and inclusive funding through the Trek Together Fund.
