Trek Relief and Harvard University: A Powerful Partnership for Positive Change
For the second consecutive year, Trek Relief partnered with Harvard University as part of its Global Day of Service on September 1, 2023. This collaboration brought together passionate individuals united by a shared mission to create meaningful change.
Here’s a look at what we achieved together during this incredible event:
Expanding Our Reach: Connecting with the Harvard Community
Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, Trek Relief was able to connect with 24 Harvard student organizations, spreading our mission to a broader audience. These efforts have helped us build meaningful connections with motivated students and alumni, raising awareness about the opportunities to join our programs and make a lasting impact.
Fundraising Success: Supporting Our Mission
Our volunteers didn’t just stop at outreach—they took action. Seven new fundraising campaigns were launched during the event, collectively raising $1,035 in just two weeks! This milestone reflects the courage and commitment of these student fundraisers, whose efforts not only support Trek Relief’s mission but also pave the way for incredible experiences in global service.
Creative Contributions: Building a Vision Together
The creativity of our volunteers has given Trek Relief a fresh, vibrant edge. From captivating graphic designs to promotional materials for our upcoming student winter break trip (January 3–14, 2024), their contributions have been invaluable. These designs reflect the energy and purpose of Trek Relief, helping us connect with more students and inspire them to join our mission.
Gratitude and Growth
At Trek Relief, we’re proud to run impactful volunteer events—both in-person and online—that accommodate groups of all sizes. This partnership with Harvard University showcases the power of collaboration in creating meaningful change.
To every volunteer who joined us: thank you for being part of this journey. Your efforts amplify our mission, inspire others, and help create a brighter, more connected world.
