Patagonia × Solar Eclipse 2020 Trek Postponed Due to COVID-19

COO and Patagonia Program Manager Sarah Nguyen Trek Relief

With a deep sense of care and responsibility, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our second trip to Patagonia. While extended border closures played a role, the well-being of our beneficiaries, whose remote location has helped keep them safe, guided our decision.

Committed to the Project’s Success

Though we can’t physically be there this year, our commitment to completing the Sustainable Community Development Program remains unwavering. We’re continuing to provide financial support to ensure the program’s progress.

We’re incredibly grateful to have Sarah Nguyen, our COO and Patagonia Program Manager, on the ground. Sarah has been safely quarantining in the project region and is actively managing operations locally. Her dedication keeps the momentum alive despite the challenges. Go, Sarah, go!

Looking Forward

While 2020 didn’t unfold as planned, our vision for Patagonia is as strong as ever. We’re taking this time to reflect, adapt, and prepare for when we can safely reunite and continue creating meaningful impact.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support. Together, we’ll see this project through and make a difference that lasts.
