Trek Relief’s Langtang Trip 11 has wrapped up, leaving behind a legacy of progress, learning, and environmental stewardship. Each trip deepens our connection to the Langtang Valley, and this time was no different—our volunteers and community members achieved incredible milestones together.
Highlights from Langtang Trip 11
Earthquake-Safe Masonry Training:
Architect Buddha Gurung shared his expertise by delivering a lecture on stone masonry and the mechanics of earthquake-safe buildings, equipping both volunteers and locals with essential knowledge.School Wall Construction Begins:
Volunteers cleared brush, prepped the site, and completed 2.5 layers of stone masonry for the first wall of the school building.Supporting Education:
Delivered essential school supplies to local students.
Stocked the school library with 50 new books, sparking excitement among young readers.
Environmental Stewardship:
Conducted a trail cleanup, inspiring other trekkers and locals to join the movement toward a cleaner Langtang Valley.
Distributed waste management posters now proudly displayed at local teahouses.
