TREK TOGETHER FUND
We understand that various barriers can make it challenging to participate in our trips. The Trek Together Fund is here to help. If you have the passion and determination to trek with us but feel a strong lack of accessibility, we invite you to apply for assistance through our fund.

Criteria & Eligibility:
We provide support to those who meet the following criteria:
Those with a proven need for financial assistance;
are community leaders in inspiring change, whether successful or aspirational;
started and shared personal fundraising campaigns through our tools; and
can provide beneficial skills relevant to the trip’s community.
Three Easy Steps to Apply:
Connect with us on social media: Like our Facebook page and follow us on Instagram (@trekrelief).
Spread the word: Share the desired trip’s Facebook event by posting/sharing it to your social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram/X/LinkedIn). If you do not use social media, an alternative promotional activity is expected.
Complete our application form (below) detailing your interest in our trek and how this opportunity will impact your life, sharing your passion for trekking/volunteer work and how this opportunity will benefit you and our communities.
You will also be asked to provide a reference person, of whom we will contact for verification purposes.
If selected, you will be granted a specified reduction in your trip cost, making your purposeful trek more accessible.
Funding Terms
The maximum amount that can be requested for support is the total trip contribution/cost (we do not cover transportation to/from the trip start/end points).
Please note that depending on the number of applicants and current available funds, higher requested amounts may not be fully funded, though they may be partially awarded.
The final selection of fundees for a specified trip will be made before the final contribution deadline for that trip.
Recipients will be contacted as soon as possible with a response, whether to approve or deny funds; expect to wait at least 1-2 weeks.
Awarded funds are non-transferable.
Cancelations:
In the event that the trip is canceled by Trek Relief, the awarded value can be used on any of our trips until the end of the following calendar year.
If the fundee is unable to attend the specified trip and the trip is not canceled, the awarded funds will be forfeited and remain in the fund for other candidates.
