Volunteers embarked on an epic trek to Mount Everest, the holy grail for the adventurous traveler. During the project, our volunteers provided on-site medical support at a health camp in a rural village, offering care to locals who often lack access to adequate healthcare. The program culminated in a trek to Everest Base Camp, blending service with an adventure of a lifetime.
This Trek Relief trip focused on strengthening healthcare access in rural Nepal by supporting a local medical center with essential aid and resources. Volunteers helped deliver direct medical care, distributed critical supplies, and donated much-needed equipment to improve patient services. The impact of this initiative continues to support long-term community health and resilience in a region where medical infrastructure is often limited.
“Not too often in life do you get to give and receive with such great passion and reward. Here is an opportunity in your life to seize both in one of the most powerful settings in the world. Travel with purpose!”

Healthcare Access in the Lowest Everest Region
Medical Aid Project
Mission
We invite both non-medical and medical volunteers off the beaten path to this verdant land, where training hikes and volunteer work will prepare your body and soul before helicoptering out to the main Everest Base Camp trail. Funds raised in this campaign sponsors desperately needed medical equipment and supplement medicine stocks, as well as enables our 2-day volunteer health clinics.
Volunteers from all medical professions are welcome to join, especially dentists, optometrists, and dermatologists. Your visit can provide healthcare that may never have been experienced before in this region.
Join us in this conscious, challenging, and community-oriented adventure, delivering impactful aid and empowering local women and communities.
Background
Looming at a jaw-dropping 8,848 m/29,029 ft elevation above sea level, Mount Everest is a holy grail for the adventurous traveler. Charming lodges and bakeries, ancient monasteries, and unworldly views spur trekkers to challenge themselves to new heights. Supported by the tourism economy, there are ample resources to provide a safe and comfortable experience to visitors.
However, in stark contrast to the Everest trail’s facilities, the untouched lower Everest region is direly lacking. There is a severe medicine shortage and healthcare workers are under-equipped due to a restrictive government budget. In a region commonly reporting dental, eye, and skin-related ailments, medical specialists and proper treatment are virtually nonexistent.
