School Handover Ceremony Trek

April 15-27, 2020

12 days | $1,800 USD fundraising minimum (early bird)

Trek Relief invites you to save the date for our greatest accomplishment yet - the completion of a $50,000 USD multi-year project to rebuild the Komin Shyamey Wangphel Secondary School, located at a gateway town to the Himalayas. Volunteers will explore a remote, alternate trek in Langtang that ends with the handover ceremony celebrations.

A highlight of our 14th trip to the Rasuwa District will be our highly anticipated Trek Relief School Handover Ceremony with school officials, students, teachers, and the local community in attendance. During the ceremony, volunteers will be joining hands with the students and community to create an interwoven mural of handprints to beautify the school. This physical, lasting mark is dedicated to honor the tremendous collective effort it took our volunteers and Nepalis alike to make this rebuild possible.

Deadlines

  • Early bird: $1,800 minimum. Donate/raise your $300 deposit by December 15, 2019.

  • Regular: $2,500 minimum. Donate/raise your $300 deposit due by February 15, 2020.

  • Final payment: Your minimum contribution must be reached by March 15, 2020.

Traveling with Trek Relief helps you feel more connected to the country and its people... and gives you an experience you would not otherwise be able to have on your own.
