Announcing Our New Nepal Program: Building Climate Resiliency Together

We’re excited to introduce our latest program in Nepal, focused on climate resiliency and empowering communities. Partnering with The Small World Nepal, we aim to support over 500 families—impacting more than 3,000 individuals—through sustainable agriculture and leadership development.

How We’re Helping

This year, our program will provide:

  • Kitchen Garden Seeds: Over 10 varieties to help families grow fresh, sustainable food.

  • Greenhouse Tunnels: Designed for households to grow crops year-round.

  • Expert Training: Agricultural guidance to ensure long-term success.

  • Leadership Development: A community program to strengthen collaboration and empower local leaders.

Our goal is to equip the Tingla community with the resources they need to adapt and thrive in the face of climate challenges.

Tingla holds a special place in our story. In 2018, we worked with this community in the lower Everest region to deliver medical equipment and supplies. This year, we’re excited to continue our collaboration, building on our shared commitment to progress and resilience.

Join the Trek to Amadablam Base Camp

As part of this program, we’re hosting a fundraising trek to Amadablam Base Camp, one of the most stunning mountains in the world. The trek runs from November 27–December 11, 2022, taking us through the majestic Everest region while supporting this important initiative.

Support climate resiliency and community empowerment while experiencing the beauty of Nepal’s landscapes. We’re looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
