Just over a month ago, we concluded our Covid Relief Campaign and Fundraiser for Nepal, and we’re thrilled to share the progress your generosity has made possible. Together, our incredible community of supporters raised $25,728, surpassing our $25,000 goal!

Thanks to your contributions and our ongoing partnership with The Small World Nepal, we’ve already completed the first phase of the relief efforts, providing critical resources to Nepali communities during these challenging times.

Phase One: Food Relief and Safety Supplies

During phase one, the funds were used to address immediate needs:

• Daily lunches for thousands of community members.

• Family meal packages filled with essential staples.

• Masks and sanitizers to help protect against the spread of COVID-19.

These efforts brought immediate relief to families and individuals in need, ensuring they had access to food and safety supplies during the crisis.

Phase Two: Medical Relief and Vaccination Access

Phase two of our relief campaign has focused on providing essential medical support to rural Nepalese communities.

• Nearly 500 people in the Himalayan community of Solukhumbu District received the COVID-19 vaccine "Vero Cell," thanks to the collaboration between The Small World Nepal and the Nepalese government.

• These vaccinations were administered at the Phuleli Community Health Center in Taksindu, a facility that is becoming a beacon of hope for quality, affordable healthcare in the region.

With this progress, the goal of providing sustainable healthcare to rural communities is now within reach.

Building a Lasting Impact: Phuleli Community Health Center

In addition to COVID-19 relief, The Small World is making incredible strides in the construction and opening of the Phuleli Community Health Center. This facility is already transforming healthcare access in the region by offering:

• COVID-19 relief and vaccination programs.

• Emergency care and maternal/child healthcare.

• Safe deliveries and immunizations.

• Family planning and pharmacy services.

• Dental care and healthcare education programs.

• Community outreach to all members of the Solukhumbu District.

This center represents a sustainable future for health and wellness in the community, and we’re honored to be part of this transformational journey.
