With the help of Trek Relief alumni and friends who stepped up to run the event, we raised $1,700 to fuel our mission of creating sustainable, community-driven change.

Pioneering Conservation in Mongolia: A Landmark Trip

Alongside our Los Angeles efforts, Trek Relief launched its pioneer conservation-focused trip in Mongolia this year. Partnering with the Mongolian Rotary Club of Khangarid, Terelj National Park Rangers, and the local community, we took action to combat littering and promote sustainable tourism.

Highlights of Our Mongolia Project:

• Community Clean-Up Day: 27 local volunteers joined our team for an educational cleanup event at Terelj National Park, collecting litter and learning about conservation efforts.

• First Trash Bins in the Park: Permanent trash bins were installed in high-traffic areas, sponsored by Trek Relief volunteers and donors.

• Sustainable Travel Guidelines: We created and translated sustainable travel practices, setting a working standard for our guiding staff and raising awareness among the public and the Mongolian tourism industry.

Our efforts are part of a broader goal to shift mindsets about waste management and promote environmental stewardship in one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes.
